Scottsdale’s Lighting Leader Hinkley’s Lighting Partners With Foothills Animal Rescue on Fridays in January and February to Help Animals in Need

The Lighting Store Will Donate 10% of All In-Store Purchases on Fridays to Foothills Animal Rescue

This January and February make plans to be part of Fetch Fridays at Hinkley’s Lighting in Scottsdale.

Valley-based and family-owned Hinkley Lighting is proud to donate 10 percent of all in-store purchases from its North Scottsdale Greenway Loop store on Fridays in January and December to Foothills Animal Rescue.

The non-profit animal welfare agency, which opened in 1995 is based in Scottsdale and has helped to save thousands of animals’ lives, and continues to provide extensive medical care and behavior modification and training for animals waiting on their forever homes.

“First and foremost, we’d like to thank Hinkley’s lighting for choosing Foothills Animal Rescue! We appreciate the support of the company as well as their customers and community for supporting our mission to rescue, care and adopt out homeless cats and dogs. We are projected to invest an average of $2,000 per animal in our care next year to help them find forever homes and heavily invest in cats and dogs’ medical treatments. Every dollar counts and is greatly appreciated. We love collaborating and love the support we receive from the community,” said Lana Shapiro, Director of Development.

This holiday season the family is not only hoping to raise several thousand for the animal rescue, but they also want to help find forever homes for as many of the dogs and cats as possible.

“As beautiful as our lights are, animals are the stars of our homes. They light up our lives and give us tremendous joy and here at Hinkley’s Lighting we love everything Foothills Animal Rescue is doing for animals in this community,” said Michael Jackson. “If we can help raise some valuable funds and get dozens of animals placed into their forever homes then there is no better gift for the new year.”

On select Fetch Friday’s members of the community will also be able to adopt dogs and cats from Hinkley Lighting as customers are also invited to an in-store adoption event on Friday, January 19th and Friday, February 16th from 11 am-1 pm.

Foothills Animal Rescue is located on In Memory of Brynne Smith Memorial

Campus at 10197 E Bell Rd in Scottsdale, AZ 85260. The rescue can be reached by calling (480) 488-9890.

A formal check presentation will take place in March.
