By Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego
Since you elected me as your mayor five years ago, we’ve worked to make Phoenix the city of the future— and a great place where families can thrive for generations to come.
Together, we’ve delivered.
We’ve strengthened our local economy with a $65 billion investment that will make Phoenix the semiconductor capital of the nation, with tens of thousands of good jobs and more opportunity than ever before.
We’ve advanced state-of-the-art purification technology that will help secure our access to clean, reliable drinking water over the long term.
By partnering with ASU, we’re delivering the new headquarters for ASU Health and new medical school in downtown Phoenix— creating new health care options for the entire region.
And we’ve prioritized what makes our quality of life so great in Phoenix: public safety, our exceptional parks system, and affordable housing.
We’re not done yet, and I know our city is still dealing with some big challenges we must tackle head-on. That’s why I am proud to share this news with you first: I’m running for re-election to build on our progress and continue delivering real results for the city we love.
Take a moment to watch our announcement video here.
I hope you’ll join me on this campaign.
Let’s continue to build the Phoenix of the future—together.
Thank you,
Kate
