Guest Editorial: Moving Forward in The Fight to Keep Scottsdale Special!

Dear Friends,

Today I made the difficult and personally painful decision to withdraw from the City Council race and return to my position as the Chairman of TAAAZE (Taxpayers Against Awful Apartment Zoning Exemptions). I made this decision based on the results of the recent primary election and the effect those results have had on the Scottsdale political landscape. My departure from the campaign leaves two strong opponents of overdevelopment in the race who I am confident will capture the two remaining seats on the City Council while leaving me free to battle the awful Axon apartment development on the legal and political fronts.

This change literally gives us more “boots on the ground” in the fight to Keep Scottsdale Special! You should have no concern I will slack off on the fight against overdevelopment as I will be working harder than ever to win that fight!

Since this will be my last campaign email I want to thank all of you who supported me in the campaign and especially to thank the 22,091 Scottsdale citizens who voted for me. I appreciate all of you so much!

Former Councilman Bob Littlefield
