Locally and Nationally Recognized Scottsdale-Based Cullum Homes Reports New Spike in Out of State Buyers and Several Signature Communities Are Nearly Sold Out

The Village at Mountain Shadows, Village at Paradise Reserve and Ironwood Golf Villas Offer Final Homesites For Sale

Award-winning and nationally ranked Custom Home Builder of the Year Cullum Homes is proud to announce the luxury builder is almost sold out and down to its final remaining homes for sale in several of its marquee communities.

The Scottsdale-based builder is currently finishing construction on its final two remaining model homes for sale at the Village at Mountain Shadows.  Nestled at the base of the Valley’s iconic Camelback Mountain, in the heart of Paradise Valley, the exclusive guard-gated, lock-and-leave, resort style community has sold 38 of its 40 homesites.  The two homes are around 5,000 square-feet and priced between $4,000,000 – $5,000,000. The homes will be completed by early 2024.

Similarly, Cullum Homes has just one for-sale model still available at the Village at Paradise Reserve also located in Paradise Valley. Tucked away in the high-desert mountain foothills above Phoenix, Cullum’s Paradise Reserve is one of the Valley’s last luxury guard gated communities bordering the Phoenix Mountain Preserve. The last for-sale model in this community is priced in the low $4,000,000 range and offers more than 3800-square-feet with 4 bedrooms. 47 other homes have sold in the community.

Cullum Homes is also in the final close out stages for its Ironwood Golf Villas community, which sit directly on Camelback Country Club Golf Course. This exclusive community offered just eight custom homesites, with spectacular views of Camelback Country Club and the surrounding mountains. Of the 8 homes, only 3 homes remain for sale.  Two are currently under construction.  The homes range in size from 4,000-square-feet and up and start in the $4 million range.

The luxury builder has earned its reputation as Arizona’s top luxury custom home builder by integrating architecture, interior design, construction, project management and home concierge in order to deliver its high-end custom homes to the most refined of buyers. They also have a division dedicated to renovations. According to Rod Cullum, CEO and Founder of Cullum Homes there has been a significant uptick in the number of buyers coming out of Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Chicago.

“We are seeing a huge influx of inquiries and buyers coming out of the Pacific Northwest and right now more so than we have ever experienced previously,” said Cullum. “They are buyers who are looking to relocate to Arizona rather quickly. They want luxury, they want a highly customizable home that offers only the highest amenities possible and they want the homes to be turnkey and fast.”

Cullum added “In a normal year when there are no supply issues we can usually deliver 24 homes a year to the marketplace but with this huge influx of buyers that are moving to the Valley, it’s challenging to keep up with the current demand. We can’t build the homes fast enough for all the buyers who want to move into our beautiful homes.”

Right now buyers will see more availability of homes at Cullum’s Village at Seven Desert Mountain. In this community Cullum offers five distinctive base floor plans from 2,996 to 4,200-square-feet and allows for customization to over 9,000 square feet on certain homesites. 13 homes have already sold out of the 33 homesites. The homes overlook the 13th hole of the Renegade course, and the 10th and 11th holes of the new USGA-rated, par 54 golf course, No. 7 at Desert Mountain.

Listing Agent Scott Grigg says the golf lifestyle and amenities are one of the big driving forces for this community.

“What’s nice about these homes, buyers can choose between single or two-level homes and they can add on golf inspired amenities like the ‘19th Hole’ basement entertainment zone that comes complete with an indoor golf simulator, glass-enclosed collector car showroom, theater, wet bar, and other amenities,” said Grigg. Prices start in the $2,800,000 range.

Cullum’s latest new home community, Ascent at The Phoenician®, offers resort style living and is tucked into the base of Camelback Mountain. The community is selling the fastest with 22 of the 51 elevated homesites having already sold and almost all of the golf frontage lots are under construction or under contract. This new collection of custom homes offers one, two and three-level residences that reflect a timeless modern design. Prices start at $3,000,000 and many floor plans and options are available for the most discerning buyers.

Many of Cullum Homes’ buyers are also incorporating Lifestyle features into their homes. These highly customizable living spaces encompass a variety of unique amenities, such as their signature “car bar” collector car showroom, a therapeutic treatment room, an indoor golf simulator, a tequila bar, a movie theater, and an entertainment zone.
