The One-Of-A-Kind District Dome At Desert Ridge Marketplace Announces Plans In the Works For Next Concept
The reviews are in and the guests have spoken! The Ember Lounge, Vestar’s one-of-a-kind immersive holiday experience captured the hearts of visitors, garnering rave reviews and selling out its initial run, prompting additional days to meet the soaring demand and a new spring concept, that will launch in 2024 at Desert Ridge Marketplace.
The District Dome, a striking 50-foot spherical structure, was unveiled on November 16th, 2023, transforming the courtyard of Desert Ridge Marketplace into a festive evergreen forest. The inaugural Ember Lounge was proven to be a success, offering guests a 90-minute immersive holiday experience.
Visitors praised the captivating atmosphere, whimsical craft cocktails, chef-driven menu offerings, and the state-of-the-art projection show. Due to the high demand, additional days were added to accommodate reservations for Mondays and Tuesdays that were then snapped up within 24 hours of release. Vestar estimates that more than 7,500 people enjoyed the experience from its opening night on November 16th to its closing on December 31st.
With influencer reviews reaching millions, including media personality @perezhilton, many described the experience as ‘Magical’, and a must try. @Wildjoyexperiences said “This dome bar experience in Phoenix needs to be on everyone’s bucket list.”

Responding to the public’s fervor, tickets for a special New Year’s Eve Celebration at Ember Lounge also sold out within hours of going on sale.
Given the high demand and continued interest, Vestar has more ambitious plans for The District Dome in 2024, including bringing a new concept to Desert Ridge Marketplace this spring. This new concept would offer a new theme based on the spring season. More details to be announced in the coming months.
The District Dome is also part of Desert Ridge Marketplace’s Sip & Stroll program, which allows customers 21 and older to enjoy alcoholic beverages from participating bars and restaurants while strolling the property.
