High-profile speaker series to feature collector car icon ahead of Barrett-Jackson’s fall auction in Scottsdale
Craig Jackson is both a Scottsdale icon and the visionary behind the Barrett-Jackson Auction Company and its must-see series of collector car events, and this month, members of Scottsdale Community Bank’s “The Vault” business club will get to engage with him face-to-face ahead of the city’s fall auction in October.
Jackson will serve as the featured guest speaker at the second installment of The Vault, set for 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25 at the de Sarthe Gallery in Scottsdale (7507 E McDonald Dr #1A, Scottsdale). The event takes place just weeks before the Barrett-Jackson fall auction returns to WestWorld Oct. 15 – 18, 2025, giving clients, shareholders and directors in the complimentary business club exclusive access to the man behind one of the most successful and best-attended collector car events of all time.
The Vault series spotlights different Valley standouts who drive innovation and success within their respective industries, and Jackson has long served as a bridge between Scottsdale’s thriving business community and one of the city’s most celebrated cultural events. In addition to sharing insights about leadership and industry innovations, Jackson will also discuss the astronomical growth of the auction series, which began as a 1971 meeting between two car buffs and has since grown into a major point of pride for Scottsdale and the other cities where it takes place.
“Our goal with The Vault is to give community members access to inspiring leaders and Valley icons who keep Scottsdale in the national spotlight, and no one fits that bill better than Craig Jackson,” said Scottsdale Community Bank President & CEO Neill LeCorgne. “It’s an honor to have him take part in this event, and we expect it to be one of the highlights of the entire event series.”
As the Valley’s second-fastest-growing bank, Scottsdale Community Bank serves as the “go-to bank” for small and mid-size businesses and nonprofits, merging transaction speed with cutting-edge technology and true personal attention, much like the cars crossing Jackson’s auction block. Born into the automotive industry, Jackson grew up in the business his father, Russ, launched in the early 1970s alongside partner Tom Barrett before taking the reins himself in 1995, after the passing of his brother, Brian. Jackson soon took the event well beyond Scottsdale to cities nationwide, and he also helped it make its way into millions of homes across the nation and around the world through partnerships with Speedvision, FOX Sports (formerly the SPEED Channel), Discovery Communications, FYI, the History Channel and A+E, among others.
While his work has earned him countless accolades from collector car enthusiasts and publications like Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Motor Trend and numerous others, Jackson has also secured considerable recognition for his philanthropic efforts. To date, Jackson has overseen more than $163 million in charitable giving through the Barrett-Jackson auction block since the company’s inception.
Jackson will be the second guest speaker at Scottsdale Community Bank’s lauded event series, with The Vault’s inaugural edition, held in May 2025, featuring Hi Noon Hospitality Founder and Buck & Rider, Ingo’s Tasty Food and Pinyon Founding Partner Adam Strecker.
