Arizona’s Biggest & Most Amazing Kentucky Derby Party Returns Saturday, May 3 With Old Favorites, New Features

Expanded Offerings, Live Performances by Honeygirl & Whiskey’s Quicker Adding New Energy to May 3 Derby Party at Turf Paradise

Arizona’s most stylish and spirited Kentucky Derby celebration is raising the stakes this year with lower ticket prices, more viewing opportunities and live musical performances all happening just steps away from local horse racing.

Set for Saturday, May 3rd at Turf Paradise in Phoenix, the Woodford Reserve Derby DayClub is the ultimate off-track party destination, promising more excitement, energy and entertainment than ever before. This year’s festivities will take place in a larger tent than in years past, offering plenty of room for well-dressed revelers to rub shoulders, sip Mint Juleps, pose for photos and place bets.

This year’s setup will also include additional TVs, helping ensure that all attendees have a close look at the action taking place at Churchill Downs.

“We’re always eyeing ways to enhance the guest experience, and this year’s event promises more screens, more space, lower ticket prices, and, for the first time ever, live music,” said Jason Rose, who owns the Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships, which produces the Woodford Reserve Derby DayClub. “Whether you’re a regular at this event or a first-time visitor, you’ve never experienced a Derby party quite like this one.”

In addition to opportunities to watch and wager on the Kentucky Derby simulcast, attendees can also enjoy a full card of live local horseracing around the Turf Paradise track and performances by Honeygirl, a Queen Creek-based country music artist, and Whiskey’s Quicker, a local rock cover

band fronted by Arizona Sports 98.7 Talk Show Host and Sports Writer Dan Bickley.

This year’s Derby DayClub will also include reserved tables and seating in The Sanderson Lincoln Black Label Lounge and the NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer Pavilion in addition to general admission seating. The Sanderson Lincoln Black Label Lounge, located right next to the track, features on-site betting machines and plenty of TVs for viewing, and guests can stop by the tent’s no-host bars for Mint Juleps, champagne and cocktails throughout the festivities.

All table options include a complimentary bottle of Chandon champagne, with table prices ranging from $450 to $1,250 apiece. Black Label Row 3 single reserved seats are available for $135, while Row 4 single reserved seats are $115.

The NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer Pavilion, an open-air covered pavilion with great views of the races at Turf Paradise and easy access to onsite betting, will also have more TVs than last year as well as a live DJ, live band and no-host bar. Tables come with a complimentary bucket of NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer, with table prices ranging from $325 to $450.

General admission tickets are also available for $45 before March 31, $50 after March 31 and $55 at the door. General Admission includes entry to Turf Paradise and access to betting terminals, live entertainment and no-host bars with Mint Juleps, beer, wine and cocktails.

General admission tickets do not include a reserved seat.
