Zubia Touts Support from “Preserve Pioneers”

Scottsdale City Council candidate Raoul Zubia recently touted the support of several luminaries from Scottsdale’s history, whom he names “Preserve Pioneers”. From a recent campaign email:

 

I am grateful for the support of these incredible Scottsdale leaders and public servants. These women have helped lead the effort to create our magnificent McDowell Sonoran Preserve and were rightly recognized by the City as “Preserve Pioneers”. When we attract visitors, business, and investment to our city it keeps our taxes low and helps our economy thrive. That’s good for ALL of us. I am so proud to have the backing of these Pioneers.
