Offering ideal spring temperatures, ample lodging, dining and entertainment opportunities and one of the nation’s highest concentrations of wealth, Scottsdale and metro Phoenix have long attracted the likes of Frank Lloyd Wright, Max Ernst, Georgia O’Keeffe and other renowned artistic talents. However, the American Southwest has yet to host an art event of this scale until now.

Guests who descend upon WestWorld’s massive, 117,000-square-foot North Hall during the event will find an expansive range of art inside, from cutting-edge contemporary art to culturally significant historical and indigenous works. Attendees can also enjoy fashion and cultural programming from curators and directors from the ASU Art Museum, the Center for Creative Photography, the Phoenix Art Museum and the Heard Museum. First-time buyers can also gain insight from the professionals into the purchasing process so they can navigate the fair with confidence.

Regarding the sponsorship of the event, Scottsdale Ferrari General Manager Chad Morgan said, “This was the perfect pairing. Our client base desires refinement in all aspects of life, so we are honored to help bring such a high level of artistry to them.”

Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week Development Director Michael Plummer said, “Between a host of visionaries who have been inspired by our desert landscapes and many affluent individuals who seek out their work, bringing an event of this scale and scope to Arizona was simply common sense and long overdue.”

Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week will open doors for gallerists, artists and attendees alike. Gallerists get a chance to make new connections and find fresh talent in a community enthusiastic about arts and culture, while featured artists can display their works and increase their exposure in front of an educated audience of gallerists, collectors and curators. Attendees, meanwhile, can secure one-of-a-kind works from established and emerging artistic talents while getting up close and personal with the people behind them.

“The launch of Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week is a long time coming and the latest sign that the art world sees metro Phoenix and Arizona as key players in the global arts scene,” said Co-Owner Trey Brennen. “With the support of major art and cultural institutions across Arizona, this event will help solidify the region’s place on the international art map and draw much-deserved attention to its talent and artistic identity.”

The milestone art event, enhanced by the support of sponsors including Scottsdale Ferrari, Gila River Resorts & Casinos, UBS, Neiman Marcus, Candelaria, Heritage Auctions, PHOENIX Magazine, Phoenix Fashion Week, Phoenix Home + Garden, M Culinary Concepts, Cullum Homes and RAYMAR, will also help showcase the best of what Scottsdale and the surrounding areas have to offer.

In addition to serving as home to more than 13,900 millionaires, making it one of the five fastest-growing cities in the nation for this demographic, Scottsdale is also a prime place to visit during the springtime. While temperatures typically hover around the mid-70s in March, the area also hosts Major League Baseball’s Spring Training Cactus League, with the Chicago Cubs, the San Francisco Giants and the Texas Rangers among those playing in the area through Tuesday, March 25.

The region also has plenty to offer beyond art and baseball, from top-rated restaurants and the country’s highest concentration of four- and five-star resorts to casinos, golf courses and luxury retailers. Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week is also easily accessible thanks to close proximity to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and Scottsdale Airport, the latter of which is a private airstrip situated just two miles from WestWorld.
