By Raoul Zubia

Christian Serena’s op-ed is a list of things I didn’t do. I didn’t write SB 1543, lobby for it, or vote on it.
Every contribution to my campaign is publicly disclosed, and no one gets my vote for a check. I can’t control who funds Better Together or how it spends.
Voters deserve consistency. My opponents have accepted plenty of money from developers in this election and cycles since. Serena says follow the money. I agree, so follow all of it. Moreover, my opponents’ false claims have been fact-checked repeatedly in the Arizona Republic.
The only person in this race who has voted for more apartments is Barry Graham.
I share residents’ concerns about overdevelopment and have stated publicly that any growth needs to be responsible and follow the city plan. Anyone who has followed my campaign knows exactly where I stand.
Ignore the disinformation. Vote for me, Raoul Zubia, so we can restore common sense and stop spreading lies.
