Arizona Bike Week, the premier motorcycle rally in the Southwest, is gearing up for an electrifying rock n roll showdown as eight local bands compete for four prized performance slots on the HandleBar Saloon stage during the upcoming rally on April 3rd through the 7th.
The public is invited to the final round of the competition, which will take place on Saturday, January 6th, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the iconic Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale, located at 15656 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85260.
Each year, Arizona Bike Week receives over a hundred inquiries from talented bands eager to perform in front of the tremendous rally crowd. To address this overwhelming response and showcase the diverse, local musical talent, the Rock Out to AZ Bike Week contest was created.
The eight bands that have successfully advanced to the final round are ‘I Don’t Konform,’ ‘Last Train to Juarez,’ ‘Ring Finger No Pinky,’ ‘Dead West,’ ‘Octane,’ ‘90 Proof,’ ‘Bad June,’ and ‘Shine on Floyd.’
These gifted musicians will compete for the audience’s favor, with attendees having the unique opportunity to vote for their favorite acts.
Each band will showcase their talent with a 20-minute set, and voting will be conducted exclusively in person. The four bands with the highest people’s choice votes will secure a coveted spot on the HandleBar Saloon Stage during Arizona Bike Week.
In addition to the musical showdown, the event will feature food trucks, a bar, a bike show and a bikini bike wash – ensuring a vibrant atmosphere for both music and motorcycle enthusiasts. Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale will offer great specials on apparel and more for those looking to add some cool items to their wardrobe.
Lisa Cyr, event producer of Arizona Bike Week, expressed her enthusiasm for the competition, stating, “Rock Out to AZ Bike Week has added another element to our commitment to celebrate and support the incredible talent that our local music scene has to offer. This competition not only provides a stage for local bands but also allows our audience to actively participate in shaping the entertainment lineup for Arizona Bike Week.
