SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., – Lisa Borowsky, candidate for Mayor of Scottsdale, made this statement following her win over incumbent David Ortega in Scottsdale’s Mayoral race on Tuesday, November 5.
“Scottsdale residents have spoken. Our message of vision-based planning, budget discipline and resident-first engagement resonated widely with Scottsdale voters who came out to support me in this election. I’d like to thank the many volunteers, friends, family members, supporters, and–importantly—every voter who showed up to cast their vote in support of protecting Scottsdale’s future. This was truly a grassroots effort by the residents of Scottsdale for the betterment of our community. I look forward to serving you as Mayor and honoring the beauty and uniqueness of our city. I am excited to get to work!”
