Dear Friends – An exciting update – as you know, my son Trevor is a Scottsdale Firefighter. He and his crew rescued a great horned owl from a resident’s home yesterday! (Video here)
Over the course of the last week, we took the opportunity to reflect on Scottsdale’s incredible police and fire departments. We celebrated excellence, technical expertise, and a heart for service.
The Scottsdale Fire Fighters Association honored Rey Igliane as Scottsdale’s Firefighter Of The Year for his bravery, his high quality customer service to residents, and his commitment to mentoring new firefighters. It was such a pleasure to honor Rey!
The Exchange Club of Scottsdale honored Scottsdale Police Officer Keith English as Police Officer Of The Year for his dedicated service, for staying focused on the mission, and for his incredible mentorship within the department. To my delight, Rey Igliane’s service was celebrated again as well.
Congratulations Rey & Keith – Scottsdale is blessed to have you!
Trevor and the crew at Fire Station 608 safely rescued this great horned owl from a resident’s chimney and set the owl free. Great job, team!
It was a real pleasure to honor Firefighter Rey Igliane and Officer Keith English for their outstanding service to Scottsdale. Our sincere thanks and gratitude for these incredible professionals. Scottsdale is better because of them
