Possible Corruption In Buckeye Unveiled. How Is This Allowed In Arizona?

A land controversy involving property tied to Buckeye Councilmember Tony Youngker is raising serious ethical questions and stalling much needed affordable housing. A developer says Youngker wants a staggering $5 million for 2.5 acres needed to move the project forward—far above what it believes the land is worth—while the city insists it’s a private dispute. It knows better.  Is Buckeye not following through on obligations and agreements to enrich one of its own?  It gets worse. Youngker’s attorney, Patrick HagEstad, is also on the Buckeye Council, fueling questions about power, politics and who really benefits in one of Arizona’s fastest-growing cities.
