Sheriff Babeu Endorses Michele Reagan for Secretary of State

Phoenix, AZ – Senator Michele Reagan, candidate for Arizona Secretary of State, received another high-profile endorsement to her campaign from Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu. Over the years, Michele and Sheriff Babeu have worked diligently on a number of high-priority issues in Pinal County. Senator Reagan played a key role in securing additional law enforcement funding for Pinal County deputies. Sheriff Babeu and Michele also sought solutions to ballot bundling efforts in Pinal County to protect state and local elections.
“Michele and I met at the State Capitol six years ago and have had a strong friendship ever since. She has always been a willing supporter of addressing issues facing Pinal County and has a proven record of getting things done. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege to work with Michele on a variety of issues ranging from increased funding for law enforcement border security efforts to protecting our elections by eliminating ballot bundling. She is the only candidate with the relevant experience and leadership to head the Secretary of State’s Office and I am proud to support her campaign,” said Sheriff Babeu.

“I am very pleased and proud to earn the endorsement of Sheriff Babeu. He is a decorated lawman and a strong conservative leader in Pinal County. We have worked on a multitude of issues in the past and developed an effective working relationship. I look forward to continuing to work with him as Secretary of State,” said Senator Reagan.
Sheriff Babeu’s endorsement comes just days after Michele Reagan received the endorsement of Governor Jan Brewer illustrating the broad base of support Reagan’s campaign has built. Michele continues to traverse the state talking to voters and sharing her vision for Arizona.
