Message from Doug Ducey: Support from Brian Terry's Family

Last year, I had the chance to speak at a dinner honoring Arizona Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, who was murdered fighting drug cartels on our border. Now, his sister, Kelly, is speaking out in support of my campaign. She says:
Not a day goes by that I don’t think about my brother, Brian Terry. He was an elite Border Patrol Agent murdered while on duty in southern Arizona, in a federal scandal known as Operation Fast and Furious.
Imagine our frustration that Brian died fighting drug cartels in our own backyard – on American soil.
Now imagine our shock when we found out the weapons used to kill Brian were sold to the cartels by the Obama Administration.
Our family understands the dangers of an unsecure border – our Brian died fighting to secure it.
Thankfully, Arizona has a chance to elect a governor who also understands the dangers of an unsecure border, someone who will stand up for what is right and do whatever it takes to get the job done. That next governor is Doug Ducey. My brother was a fighter, and so is Doug.
Border Patrol agents are often outgunned and sometimes lack all the tools they need to do the incredibly dangerous job that we ask them to do. Doug is a strong advocate for a secure border and stands firmly behind every agent who places their life on the line to protect our country.
The federal government hurt our family. A state government, led by Doug Ducey, will help yours — and our out-of-control border.
Please stand with Kelly in supporting my campaign for governor, and use the icons at the bottom of this email to tweet, like, and forward this email to friends. Early voting is just days away, and I need your help!
Best,
Doug
