*Former councilman Daniel Valenzuela has been endorsed by the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1433, the Communication Workers of America – Arizona State Council, Sheet Metal Works Union, Local 359, UNITE HERE Local 11 and the Arizona Federation of Teachers 8002.
*Barry Goldwater Jr. announced his endorsement of Nicholas Sarwark for Phoenix Mayor.

*Bill Crawford will be hosting a meet and greet event at “Cars & Coffee” on Saturday, September 8th at Alpio’s at Troon (10458 East Jomax Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85262). Click here for more event details.
Tea Party Scottsdale will be hosting a Scottsdale City Council candidate debate at their headquarters on Thursday September 20th from 6:30 to 8:00pm
* The League of Women Voters Scottsdale will be hosting a Scottsdale School Board candidate forum Sunday, September 30 at 2 p.m. at the Scottsdale Civic Center Library auditorium. The three candidates are Patty Beckman, Jann-Michael Greenburg and Christine Schild. Tickets can be obtained HERE.
* The Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce and the Scottsdale Independent will be hosting a Scottsdale City Council candidate debate at Scottsdale City Hall on Monday October 1st from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
