The final primary election results are in and unfortunately I will not be advancing to the general election. Here are the results for Mayor (red numbers indicate that candidate’s rank in the standings):
In this race the top two finishers (Ortega and Borowsky) will advance to the general election.
In the Council race no candidate was elected outright (Betty Janik missed being elected outright by a mere 72 votes!) so Betty Janik, Tammy Caputi, John Little, Tom Durham, Guy Phillips, and Becca Linnig will compete for the three open Council seats in the November general election:
While I am deeply disappointed in the outcome I want to thank you all for your support and help over the last few months. As usual I had the lowest amount of campaign cash so what success I had is mostly due to the efforts of the scores of Scottsdale citizens who worked hard for my campaign.
