Conservative Kelli Ward is officially leading John McCain for the first time in the polls! In a recent poll from independent firm Gravis Marketing, Kelli Ward was the choice of 45% of registered Arizona Republican primary voters while John McCain only garnered 36%. Approximately one fifth of voters still remain undecided. This poll is a huge shift from the May numbers that showed Kelli Ward trailing John McCain by 13 points. Momentum is on the side of Kelli Ward!
It is still early in the race and John McCain will soon launch a massive attack campaign. The establishment does not want John McCain to lose! When asked about the poll numbers, Kelli Ward told Breitbart News the following:
“Primary voters of all ages and political ideologies who participated in this poll are making it clear that John McCain is not their choice for U.S. Senate. My name recognition is increasing which is very encouraging because we are so early in the election cycle. Arizona voters are looking for a fresh, bold, proven leader with new ideas to move our country in the right direction. Over thirty years of the same old Establishment pragmatism has worn thin and turned many of those currently in D.C. into Democrat-lite lawmakers – people are ready to Shake Up D.C. with me.”
John McCain was censured by Arizona Republicans for a reason! After being in Congress for 27 years, John McCain has transformed into part of the Washington establishment. Unfortunately, the John McCain of 2015 is part of the problem and not part of the solution! He has worked to expand guest worker programs, grant amnesty, raise taxes, and crush gun rights. To make matters worse, John McCain has frequently teamed up with Harry Reid to derail conservative negotiations. It is time for John McCain to retire!
