I’ve known and worked with Jennifer Petersen for a long time. As an educator myself, I can appreciate the many challenges she has faced as a member of the Scottsdale Unified School District governing board. Jennifer has proven herself an excellent steward of SUSD’s budget and an exceptional spokesperson for our students. Whether it is working with the City of Scottsdale to address issues, working with school administrators and teachers to make sure we maximize the return on our investment in our students, or interacting with parents and the community at large to take their concerns into consideration before making any big decisions, Jennifer has excelled. I fully support Jennifer Petersen in her run for Scottsdale City Council.
