Doug Ducey: Support from our Veterans

I’m proud to release a new web video this week highlighting support from veterans across the state. Their commitment to this country and Arizona is exceptional, and I am honored and extremely humbled to receive their endorsement. ducey
These brave men and women have fought for our country and deserve our support always, but now they need it more than ever before. As governor, I will do everything in my power — whether it’s reliable and responsible healthcare or growing the economy to provide more jobs — to ensure our veterans have every opportunity to thrive after they’ve left service.
In the video, U.S. Army veteran Tony Saputo talks about the importance of having a plan: “When you’re in the military, you’ve got to have a plan. You’ve got to execute that plan and make it work.”

I couldn’t agree more. In fact, I often say that a plan that isn’t written down is a daydream – it’s something I learned at Procter & Gamble and I apply it everyday. As CEO of Cold Stone Creamery, I had a plan to build the business into a successful brand that is loved around the world.
I want to do the same for Arizona, which is why I have a plan to get there. The Roadmap to Opportunity and Freedom details my policy agenda that I believe will lead Arizona to a more prosperous future.
This week I was also proud to be endorsed by the Small Business Alliance, which highlighted my ability to “attract businesses to Arizona in a dynamic yet fiscally responsible way while nurturing the environment to retain Arizona businesses.”
It all comes back to my plan, and I hope you will take the time to read it. With your help, we will make this state stronger than ever and a more secure, supportive environment for all its citizens. Please share this video and my plan and friends.
As always, thank you for your continued support,
Doug
